MOJO183 and JAI60

Yesterday, I got something very special in the mail.  As often as I can, I make a card for the MOJO Monday sketch challenge.  For this particular challenge, if you make a card on the first Monday of the month you have a chance to win a stamp set if your card is chosen as a winner.  I've been making cards for this challenge for a long time, and (I can hardly believe it) for the first Monday in March my card was chosen as one of the winners!!

My prize was a stamp set (which I got in the mail yesterday), so I put it to good use for the newest MOJO sketch and the Just Add Ink color challenge.

I love Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry together, but I wish I had some designer paper besides the retired Cottage Wall paper when using these colors together.  I ended up using the Jolly Holiday paper for the Old Olive polka-dotted panel, which just goes to show that these versatile papers can be used for just about anything!

I thought about putting a sentiment on this card, but decided against it.  There's something about this relatively clean and simple card that I don't want to spoil by adding a sentiment.  In my version, I have replaced the scalloped panel in the sketch graphic with the background leaves.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have time to stamp today!

WOW! This is gorgeous! I have always loved this color combo, too. What is that stamp set called that you used? It's so pretty!

Oh congratulations on your win Jen - bet you felt great! And to win a stamp set too, the BEST kind of prize! Love today's card - Rich Razz and Old Olive really are a winning combination.

Yes, the simple clean lines needed to remain sentiment free. Good decision. Congrats on your JAI Top Pick selection! Cheers!
